Char Siu Fried Rice


Double take. Making two dishes out of one dish.


With the left over Char Siu, Siaopo made Char Siu fried rice. Perfect for packed lunch at work.

Ingredients
1 cup of Char Siu (diced )
2 eggs
2 cups of rice
1 cup of mix vegetables
2 stalks of spring onions (chopped)
2 tbsp chicken stock
3 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp oil

Method
  1. Beat the egg. Add in the chicken stock.
  2. Heat oil in the wok. Pour the beaten eggs, stir in middle until eggs are cooked and dry.
  3. Separate eggs in small pieces.Remove eggs and set aside.
  4. Heat another 1 tbsp of oil in the wok. Add Char Siu, rice and mix vegetable and stir fry.
  5. Add in the soy sauce, eggs and continue stir fry.
  6. Add in the springs onions and sesame oil.
  7. Remove and serve hot.

fried rice is my favourite, but over here, i need to cook myself whenever i feel like having fried rice... or else order take away... she just enjoy playing with her cakes.

btw, he can cook pineapple fried rice very well, he bought the pad thai sauce and use it to cook fried rice... taste good :)

Ask him to make you pad thai! Should be nice. I am still waiting for someone to cook me...even fried Egg I will be over the moon ! ha ha
